By Yvette Boden I love it because there was no assembly and still think it looks nice, but it didn't take much for a 2-yr-old to bump against one of the doors to have it rip off...not even at the hinges! It ripped off in the middle of the wood. The manufacturer offered me a discount on a new unit--can you believe that? I paid over $1000 only 8 months ago and get a discount on a new one? How ridiculous. There is NO repairing it. I now have to take the doors off both towers to make it even looking. I never give business to companies that don't offer more practical and better serving solutions to problems with the merchandise so I advise you to stay away from this company. I would, however, recommend having at least two people there to flip it over halfway through assembly because trying to do this yourself might cause the bottom panel to break. Gerleman I bought this tv stand, thinking it was probably not very heavy, it was fairly cheap at the time, and I knew I'd have to assemble. But I needed something for a corner TV, DVD and cable area. It came in a really heavy box, and as an older woman, I struggled to get it into the house. I put it together, alone, in about 30 minutes. I used a Craftsman drill/driver. I put it in the corner, my plasma TV fits perfectly and its gorgeous. I think it is some veneer type wood, but I love it. Of course, I am a single older woman living alone, the heaviest thing to be on it is a cat. The doors are even, the storage area is large, and every day I realize that I love it. I moved a larger buffet type tv table into my bedroom, and this is a good replacement. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a darker, sort of Craftsman type table. Good but wider than you think By Blume The assembly on this product is painful due to many different pieces, and the part on the bottom holding the weight does NOT have a backside to it, which is just odd. But really the main problem we found with this unit is that it can't go into a corner, the doors swing open quite a bit wider than the unit itself. So if you want to use the doors, you need to calculate about 10-12 inches of free space to both sides of the unit. That said, I still liked it. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Sturdy and Nice Looking By Momof2 We just purchased this stand primarily because the cabinets were easy to lock for our 2 little ones. It has not disappointed. Assembly was not complicated and the child lock fits perfectly on the cabinets. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was in the assembly process. There were a couple steps that the picture were off. They showed holes where there wasn't any and showed that pegs went in holes when they clearly went in different holes. By Old Style It came with a little dent, went to together in about 10 min. but i would not recommend, the glass feels like it will break when you put anything on it. The coffee table itself just doesn't seem well made. The legs and frame don't line up perfectly so there are gaps where the legs are attached to the table. For all three pieces it was only about $260 (no tax, no shipping charges). I received them in good condition. They were packed well, and I was able to easily decipher the "picture only" instructions. I assembled them by myself, and once I figured out how the first table went together, the other two were a breeze. It took me about 30minutes to assemble each piece. Then they changed the price, canceled my order, and encouraged me to buy it at a tremendously higher price. POOR business practices. It came so well packaged it was actually quite unbelievable. Not a scratch or dent on it because it was wrapped with about 4 layers of cardboard boxes. It also came just about fully assembled, which is obviously great. The only thing I had to do was peel some plastic off the glass and turn the knobs from inside out. They did that so that they didn't break off. I did have some issues with the purchase but the product itself was 5 stars no doubt. It looks fantastic and is everything I was hoping for. However, As the description may lead you to believe, this item does NOT come with the media towers. I was pretty disappointed and now I have to purchase the towers which is pretty expensive. Home and Living (seller) has been great about it and has done everything they can. They stated that Amazon is in control of the description there but is willing to honor it as much as they can. I do thing Amazon is a bit in the wrong here. Overall I am very pleased with the TV stand, but I'm still working with Amazon and the vendor to get this thing figured out. By Bradnon Horne I ordered this Item once through Kmart and another through Sears and I would not suggest buying anything from Homestyles. Made outside of the USA it is pure junk. Both times when we opened the boxes to assemble was the wood busted, parts missing and etc. Parts falling off it was just pathetic and dealing with the company itself has been a 5 month venture and yet have we been able to get just 1 good 1! Combs bought the TV singing Narita (made by companies, the South Inc., model MS987100TX) through Amazon.com furniture totally February 8, 2009. The stand was purchased to carry out a 46-inch LCD TV Sony Z series with the intention to use the internal storage space for components (combination DVD recorder / player / recorder and future Blue Ray player and recorder /, together with the media) is sufficient space for such purposes. I am using some baskets inside the chassis to keep the media on the shelves, what is working well. Housing material is made by man "engineered" wood products, high quality. It almost looks like fine wood and is solid (not plated) of the building. It has pre-installed anchors receive Allen screws. The fit and finish of all parts is excellent. The company employs about 2 hours to assemble, taking the time that everything is perfect at the end, you can not say it was assembled, and it seems that was purchased at any furniture store enjoyable. He is very strong, robust, very heavy. Tandi would be easier to manage a TV flat screen 50 inches or more, provided that the weight goes, and the overhang is not visible because it is a corner TV stand. (But it can be used for a normal wall, and finshed on the back) The design and construction of this product is outstanding, and meet people's expectations. One thing that I did not think it was like the drawing of the grid of wooden doors affect the IR remote control signals for internal components, with the doors closed. This proved not to be a problem, and the components are working properly with the doors closed. Side note (Panasonic DVD player / recorder with VCR). One piece was damaged when I realized the connection. (Cam-lock piece that holds the top position on a corner) I asked for an exchange of SEI introduce their email address in support of lost, missing or defective parts, but never received a reply, it was not a critical component, and does not appear (it is just the tip, which is backed by other screws securely), so I let the case. Right panel do not fit well for the company, so I had to ask one other line, it was easy and was delivered quickly. So I put the TV on top of it, however, sank below the middle, preventing the opening of side doors properly. Not satisfied with the final product, especially for the price I paid. Bergfield This is very well crafted piece of furniture. It was easy to assemble. It took my 22 years. old son and I to 3 1 / 2 hours to assemble. The only problem we had was to put the top on the (final phase), which is necessary to align pin 8. It took a little time for training, but the final product is worth the effort. When finished, this furniture looks more expensive than it is, we had no problems with knots that had some of the other critics. Our TV and DVD components all fit nicely and all the cables are hidden. I would recommend this dresser. Also, when they were appointed as the estimated delivery time of 7-10 days, but the boxes (2) came in 3 days. I will definitely order from this seller again. High marks for them as well.
